Jewelry Inspired Design #2

Nfu-Oh GS-14 is one of my top five polishes. It's a black base with holo glitter and very unique.  I've only worn it twice and in the sun the glitter is a lot more noticeable.

I bought this ring a couple months ago and wanted to really make it my own. I decided to paint the flowers black and red using nail polish. 

Featured Colors:

Design:

• For the Konad design, I used plate m74 on the thumb, m60 for the argyle pattern, and m10 the paw prints.

Water & Ice Gradient

Featured Colors:

• Zoya_Tart (Medium Blue)
• China Glaze_Dorthy Who? (Blue Glitter)
• China Glaze_Nova (Silver Glitter)
• Milani_HD (Light Blue Holo)
• Milani_Cyberspace (Silver Holo)

Design:

• Use darkest blues first, starting with Tart and Dorthy Who on the tips. Then, use a lighter blue, HD,  and a silver, Cyberspace, further down the nail. Finally, top all four colors with a silver glitter, Nova, to create the final effect.

Glitter Gradient

Featured Colors:

• China Glaze_Medallion (Silver Chrome)
• China Glaze_Nova (Silver Glitter)
• China Glaze_Ginger (Copper Glitter)
• Special Stamping Polish_White

Design:

• One coat of Medallion on tips of nails only
• Alternate coats of Nova and Ginger in order to blend line between colors
• Use an image plate (#36) to stamp butterflies on nails

• Use a base color under sheer or glitter polish to change the look
